I'll preface by saying i'm not a first time mom & Ive had my share of experience with "Pediatric" dentists. My only regret is not knowing about Growing Smiles & Dr. Eddie with my oldest son. He is Very Knowledgeable, thorough & his staff is amazing from the front desk to the dental hygienists that assist the Dr. They really know how to work with children. It's not any more fun for us parents than it is for the child to have to take them to the dentist. But the staff knows how to make them feel comfortable so that Dr. Eddie can do what he needs to do to give them healthy, happy smiles. THANK YOU Dr. Eddie and staff for being so amazing!!

I love Dr. Eddie! He is very well with the children/kids, teens whatever you have. He is very informative and keeps you updated about your child’s oral health. Not my daughters’ (4YO) first dentist appointment, but this is our first time coming here. The previous dentist we went to, I had a few scheduling issues with. And since my little sister already comes here MY mom told me this place was fun, so I moved here and the first time was pretty great!:) They ofc had to do some X-rays, since that’s their first visit and the person who did them I forgot his name but he was nice, he did them and he was so fun with her! Once we got in the back he put on Disney+. Then the Doctor came in and he was also fun. They both asked about her “tattoo” on her arm she came home telling everyone that y’all liked her tattoo😅 Then Doctor Eddie did his check up and cleaning and told me about if she had cavities or not, it was pretty fast. Then he gave us all some coins to use at the little “toy” machines in the front by the water fountain. Then we scheduled for next time and was all done! She had a good time she loves her Jem stones and balls! Also it being by HEB is a plus! Thank y’all so much, see y’all soon! :)

I took my kids here for the first time and was amazed at the service they provide ! The front desk staff was very helpful in getting our information ready. We were then taken to a family room to wait for the dentist to see my kids. The room had a tv and was very good especially when the little ones tend to run around. I enjoyed the fact that they have tv’s mounted on the ceiling so kids can watch tv while the dentist is checking their teeth. I definitely recommend this place!

I finally found a dentist office that is great all around. The staff is friendly, the assistants are friendly, and the dentist is great! My child is very active and talks a lot and not once did I feel like they were impatient or annoyed. They were great with my son which I appreciate. He needed a lot of work but the dentist was not looking to get money out of me. He actually saved me some money by telling me his two top front teeth should be falling out soon so as long as they weren’t bothering him, he didn’t think I should worry about those teeth. Also, he included some work in the quote for me but the day of the work said he didn’t have to do that part after all so it came out even cheaper. His office and him are very honest and transparent. So happy with Growing Smiles!!

I immediately saw this was the right place for my son. First contact was with Ruben who made taking xray very seamless/painless. My son enjoyed every minute of the xray. I was shocked. Ruben then cleaned his teach and ensured something of my son's choosing was on TV. Toping it all off was Dr. Perez. He came in and took the time needed to thoroughly exam my son and made the entire visit a very pleasant one. He also ensured my concerns were addressed. The staff was great.

I have been taking my kids here for years and I love their staff and Dr. Eddie. They have always been very professional, nice, and Dr. Eddie is personable and funny (you can tell he is in the right profession when it comes to kids). I was very hesitant to take my kids for their annual checkup due to COVID but we decided to go and take precautions. The staff did a wonderful job at keeping themselves safe and my kids. My kids wore masks (except when being examined) and did not have to touch anything with their hands. The staff and Dr. changed gloves every time they treated a new patient and were wearing plenty of PPE. I will definitely continue to take my kids here and recommend this place!!!

Our son had an abscessed tooth and needed an emergency tooth pulled. It could not have gone better. The sedatives suggested made him so comfortable and it was so quick. Later in the afternoon our son ironically said it was, kid you not, "the best day of his life," lol. While hard to believe, I think this is because he was feeling so grateful that it was such a smooth and easy procedure. If only I could have had an experience like this when I was a kid and had the same issue come up! Dr. Perez has the perfect skill sets for his profession in pediatric dentistry and his team members are so available and sweet. God bless this wonderful team!

The dentist and staff are amazing! Took such good care of my first timer who is extremely anxious and has sensory sensitivities. Very pleased with the overall experience. From the get go, while making the appointment, the staff was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions patiently. Dr. Eddy and his team were wonderful with my two girls. They are 1 & 2 and it was their first dentist visit. They have a room set aside for littles, with a tv and toys that they do their visit in (they normally wait to set them in a dental chair until they are 3 years old). From the front desk staff to Dr. Eddie, everyone is very courteous, kind, and professional. Our kids also love going to Growing Smiles for heir checkups so visits are a win-win for all. We highly recommend Dr. Eddie and his staff.

Everyone in this office made our experience wonderful. The front desk staff are attentive and patient. The dental assistants called us back within 5 minutes of our arrival, and the dentist saw all 3 of my children within 30 minutes. Most importantly, my children look forward to going to the dentist. They received balloon animals and small toys after their visit and asked when we were coming back.

My 16 month old had a AMAZING experience at this dentist. The facility is clean and smells GREAT! Friendly and professional staff. We didn't wait long at all. Dr. Eddie is kind, patient and seems to genuinely love kids. My son fights me every night when brushing his teeth but he didn't cry at the visit at all. Dr Eddie also educated us on several things. I would highly recommend to everyone! Dr Eddie is our official family pediatric dentist now!

I truly enjoy taking my son to be seen for his appointments, because after checking in I have a zero wait time and I have even been seen after arriving a couple minutes late. The staff is very polite and helpful and I get a thorough explanation in regard to my son's dental care. Love this place!

To K.V. who wrote a 1 star review. I am a returning patient and we were given a 1 month wait also. However, it is because this office is so amazing. The staff is always very respectful and courteous. I am looking around for a new office for one reason only, my son is in pain and I need to get him seen as soon as possible. If I could, I would wait the month because this office is that amazing. We have had very extensive work done in the past and there is a reason why so many other dental offices recommend Growing Smiles. That 1 start is truly bogus, these folks don't deserve such pettiness...

Dr. Eddie and his staff are amazing! Not only did they get an appointment for us, they were truly awesome with my son. They made sure he was comfortable and talked him through the process. Also, while we were still in the office we had an email detailing his treatment plan. I'm so glad I found their listing and called. We will now go to them for all of my son's dental needs.

Just moved here recently and this is the best place I've ever been for my kids. Everyone is so nice and welcoming which helps my kids feel comfortable going to the dentist. The atmosphere for them is so kid friendly they love it. I would recommend this place to anyone

We have been seeing this dentist for more than a year now for my 3 daughters and he is amazing! The staff is very friendly and courteous. The girls have had several procedures ranging from extractions under general anesthesia to cleanings and we have always left with smiles on our faces! I highly recommend this office!

Amazing pediatric dentist!!! Took 4 kids in at once from ages 3-13, all kids were seen and we were out in about one hour. Kids were very happy with all staff. Thank you Dr Eddie!

This is by far the best pediatric dentistry there is in san antonio... Dr.eddie is very intelligent and very sweet! Ive tried many other pediatric dentistry offices and none of them compared to dr.eddies office! Very kid friendly office! All of his staff are very nice . They make you feel right at home. Never had a negative experience there. One of the most important things is to have a dentist that has patience with kids . dr.eddie has alot of patience with kids and even when my daughter was a little stubborn it didnt bother him whatsoever he was just calm about everything. Ive had very rude dentist that get impatient with my daughter which i disliked but dr.eddie hes the best there is in town... I have 3 kids and I took all of them to my recent appointment with my daughter it was only her appointment and it was cute when my 3 year old son said me first and it wasnt his appointment. All my kids love dr.eddie and his staff! I wish i had a dentist like him when i was growing up... The office is always nice and clean and very very kid friendly! I highly recommend this office to everyone's kiddos!! Trust me you wont be disappointed! 😃😃😃🎈🎈
